Friends, lend me your attention:
I write about Salman’s and Jaya’s feats, not praise or criticize either.
The evil that men and women do lives after them; the good is oft interred with their bones.
Salman and Jaya are honorable celebrities.
It is said they are humble beings; ready to mingle with common folks by keeping aside their celebrity airs.
And yet, when the hero in shining armor hit the road, one poor man lay dead and a few others injured.
It is said they give away alms to the needy.
And yet, more than 10,000 sarees and 750 pairs of footwear were seized during one of the raids.
But Salman and Jaya are honorable celebrities.
It is said they have a heart of gold.
And yet, the hero did not think twice before leaving injured men bleeding on the road. And the heroine took golden heart tale quite literally; she had 800 kg of Silver and 28 kg of Gold stocked in her house.
But then, both Salman and Jaya are honorable celebrities.
It is said they have a large heart.
One can give away a 3 BHK terrace flat or a Rolls Royce Phantom as gifts to loved ones. And another, conducted a wedding that holds two Guinness World Records: one is for the most guests at a wedding and the other is for being the largest wedding banquet.
And yet, Chinkara, an endangered species, did have to bear brunt on one of our hero’s pleasure outings. While the ecologically sensitive Kodaikanal got a seven storey hotel by throwing all norms to the wind.
Yet, Salman and Jaya are honorable celebrities.
I write not to disprove what Salman and Jaya do or did,
But I write what I do know.
You do love them; and I do believe that it is not without cause.
Bear with me for I see facts. So, what withholds you then, good friends to reflect upon what things they have done?
For both, Salman and Jaya are honorable celebrities.
